SOFT SAND

Soft sand, also known as builders or bricklayers sand is one of our best sellers at Crossways, this type of sand can be used for various jobs such as pointing, paving or brick laying when mixed with cement.

SHARP SAND

Sharp sand, which is sometimes called concreting, coarse or grit sand contains a greater proportion of larger particles than builders or soft sand.

This has many uses such as paving, concreting and constructing floor screeds.

BALLAST SAND

Ballast sand is used for many types of building projects and consists of sharp sand and gravel. Ballast is usually mixed with cement and water to create concrete.

RENDERING SAND

Most renders are typically made up of sand, water, cement, and lime, the best type of sand to use is rendering or plastering sand.
